Pupils applying for entry to Year 10 take entrance examinations in Mathematics, Reading, Writing and Non Verbal Reasoning. Parents will be asked to provide past school reports for the previous two academic years. Pupils applying for admission to Year 11 must have studied the first year of the (I)GCSE course (Year 10) in the British system the year prior to their entry to King’s College. The (I)GCSE examination boards in their current school must coincide with the examination boards used at King’s College. Pupils are also required to take entrance exams and a Non-Verbal Reasoning test.

It is not possible for children to join Year 11 if they have not studied Year 10 in the British education system. In these circumstances King’s College would study each case individually and recommend the best option for the applicant.
